New Order - "Krafty"

Waitingforthesirenscall_1Fucking A! My wallet is still stinging from the $22.00 price tag I paid for this import. Yeah, this shit ain't even officially out in America yet even though these guys are headlining Coachella in like a month. The shitheads who work at Warner Brothers Records could care less about a real band like New Order, they're too busy peddling shit like My Chemical Romance and The Used to 12 year olds. I must say, this record isn't half bad considering a bunch of dudes my dad's age made it. Although, I can't say I like this anywhere near as much as I liked their last (and much more guitar based) offering "Get Ready" (aside from the borderline embarrassing song they let Bobby Gillespie sing called "Rock The Shack"), "Waiting For The Sirens' Call" sounds pretty solid so far. If you're a youngster, make sure you pick up their first two records "Movement" and "Power, Corruption and Lies" (not to mention the Warsaw and Joy Division records). Also, check out the video for "Krafty" by clicking HERE and download the mp3 below. Enjoy otters!

I don't think this record is as good as "Get Ready", but its totally different and its fucking rad to see that they can still get away with these untouchable "Low-Life" styled songs like this one here.

"I must say..."

I now have this image of you typing away whilst wearing a monocle and cravat, sipping on Early Grey. Rather.

But you're spot on about the MCR /USed thing - in Pakistan (where I am for now) it's all about the hot-topic rock. Send Shat via bombing raid to Pakistan!

Nice! My favorite song posted yet. It's like a mix of electronic, 80's, rock, punk, pop, with a dash of joy divisiony sounds. It's hard to describe, but it's good. Can't wait 'til it's out in the states.

Why does everyone hate Rock the Shack? Yeah, it's not the greatest but it's not that bad.

Cuz Rock The Shack is cheesey as shit. Aside from the guitar solo on it.

The more I listen to this new New Order record the more I realize I'm not into it. Krafty is the best song on it.

Well, I mean if everything else on it is downhill from there, I'm not as amped to buy it. Maybe I should just get an old one. I wonder what happened to that band Orgy that covered Blue Monday, they sucked balls. When I found out that song was a cover from a band that was actually cool, I was stunned. I got Heart and Soul a few months ago and it's really creepy in a good way.

Thanks for popsting this, I wrote New Order off as pussy dance-pop shitting on Ian Curtis' grave. Glad to see I was wrong.

This song is OK, but the last track on the CD is by far the best one. About as rocking as New Order gets.

You have one cool site! I normally find it very arduous to download an mp3 I like. We don't have any special software like kazaa, soulseek, or limewire at home. Thank goodness you've got Krafty by New Order. That song rocks! Keep on rocking!
