I'm back in lovely LA after a week in Austin, Texas for South By Southwest. It was good to get away and it's good to be home. One thing I can't get out of my mind from texas... I'm dying to know how to make a Bloody Guinness. I'm pretty sure it's a Texas thing... either way, the Bloody Guinness blew my mind. Anyone have the recipe handy? Hook me up...
As for music... I haven't been listening to much that's new besides the new Black Rebel Motorcycle Club record "Baby 81" cuz it's so fuckin' good. Stream a couple songs on their site @ http://www.blackrebelmotorcycleclub.com/. I can't post any songs from it cuz I'll get in trouble so instead here's a few songs from a show the band did in Seattle for the radio station KEXP @ The Tripple Door on 03/19/06.

I've been listening to the album non-stop as well. They've combined elements of all three previous records into one, resulting in what I think is their best release yet.

i've heard this album and at first it sounded like a new (but old sounding) jesus and mary chain record...maybe thats why i like it so much.
